The 1980s in Czechoslovakia. The young gifted sprinter Anna (Judit Bárdos) is chosen for the nationwide group and begins training to get the Olympic Gamings. As a component of the preparation she is positioned in a secret "clinical programme" where she's getting doped with anabolic steroids. Her efficiency is improving, however after she collapses at the training, she learns the reality about the medications. Anna makes a decision to proceed in her training without the steroids although her mom (Anna Geislerova) is fretted that she won't have the ability to stay on top of various other professional athletes and might not receive the Olympics, which she views as the only opportunity for her child to run away from behind the Iron Curtain. After Anna ends up the last in the interior race, her mother educates the train (Roman Luknar) that Anna is no more utilizing steroids. They decide to apply the steroids to Anna covertly, acting it's nothing but dosages of harmless vitamins.
